C2 Front Tag Bracket

I have 2 66 NOS front tag brackets. One has no lettering or markings at all stamped in it, just the GM part #3878898 sticker. The other one has the GM sticker and stamped with sp or ds, it could be either one depending how you turn it. Do these letters mean something or are they both correct?

The one with the sticker only would be a service replacement.
The one with the "ds" (the stamping supplier) would be considered original or NOS.
