I want to thank evryone who responded to my first posting. This is what is great about belonging to a club like NCRS. I posted a question about air conditioning and not only did I get an answer right away from an expert but I got to communicate with a whole bunch of other members. I want to say something about my comment about a "simple small block" It seems this comment generated more responses than the original question. I in no way meant to demean anyone or anyone' car with this comment. Obviously if I have owned one for 29 years and have no intention ove ever selling it, then I must think very highly of them. Anyone who knows me knows that I will go out of my way at a car show or cruise night to compliment an owner on his "pride and joy" even if it is a "79 six cylinder Plymouth Duster with rust spots. We're all in this hobby to have fun and enjoy old cars. What I was driving at was that with today's tremendous emphasis on high buck, high horse, roadsters, those of us who have the small block coupes sometimes feel that these cars are not appreciated. My wife has told me many times that..."anyone with a suitcase full of cash can buy a perfect big block roadster, but they can never buy what you have- the first car you ever bought, nearly 30 years of fun, aggravation, and education and a whole lot of "history". You have forgotten more about what's in these cars and how to work on them than any 5 of these guys". You know what? I think she's on to something.

I have another 'simple small block' but beleive me, I almost got ruined to buy it in my country, I enjoy the car as any L88 owner, it is full of details to work on and it is a Corvette! You have a terrific car. All my best from Argentina, Roberto, NCRS #30019, RMC
