    C2 Holley 3247

    Hey you "by the numbers" guys. What do you make of these numbers on this 3247 Holley carb. The date code does not make sense to me. I am sorry the pic is so big. I just got a new camera and haven't figure everything out yet. Thank you Bill#44207

      The "1316" date code is the Julian dating system used for Holley carbs after about 1973. It decodes to the 131st day of 1976. So, this carburetor started life as a SERVICE carburetor.

          Thank you Joe. I have a Holley 800 on my car now but it only has one vacuum line. I think this one will work a little better. Thanks again Bill

              Could be 1986 too. If it's got slotted fuel bowl screws and other slotted screws, it's probably 1976
