    Can someone please let me know what to check on my 76 corvette sometimes it is not getting power it almost seems like the battery is disconnected all grounds are good,starter and battery are new,you can open the door and interior lights will come on but only sometimes other times nothing will come on.Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You Rick

    There are several places to look. All would be related to the power feed into the car. Other than the obvious connections at the battery, fusable links etc, the most common break is usually in the firewall connector. Look at the main power (red) wire at the bulk head connector. It usually is burned or dirty in the connector.

      Also, closely check the battery cables where they attach at the frame and Solenoid. look at the connection between the cable itself and the terminal. See my post on the '74 car above.
