Gasket material for 67 outside door handles?

Somehow I had the impression that the gaskets on the 67 outside door handles were supposed to be paper gaskets. I got a new set of gaskets from Paragon, but they are made of rubber. Is this correct?

If the gaskets are supposed to be made of paper, where can I purchase a correct set?

Paragon has it right. Thin rubber gaskets would be correct.

Rubber for the door handle, paper for the mirror.
