    66 427/390 Spark plug wires

    Seeking some input on good source for correct 66 427/390 spark plug wires. I know that Lectric Limited Inc. carries this item. Any thoughts? Any other reputable companies? This car will be shown. Thanks for the help

      I have purchased 3 sets of wires from LL for my '66 L36 - and the car has rolled about 5k miles total for all 3 sets. Unless you take EXTREME care in installing/removing them you'll damage the boots and end up with arcs and bad perfomrance. If I could find a more durable sheilded/date coded wire, I'd buy it. They really shouldn't be so fragile. I've not heard a lot of good about LL wires for this reason, but they are the only game in town for "correct" wires. Planned obsolescence? Yup.

          Would replacement sets sold by Chevy dealers (if ever sold as sets) be like the OEM wires? I'm talking "available in the 70's here...

              Yes, however the dates would have been current as of the time the sets were manufactured, which I know went into the 80's and possibly a lot longer.
