Hi,
Hereby I would like to express my gratetude towards all who bothered answering my endless list of questions during the last 2 years. As a result our Crown Sapphire '59 received it first Top Flight during the excellent UK Flight 2005 event!!! I believe I badly needed the 205 driving miles point (from Alkmaar (NL) to Kent (UK)) to achieve it so the car will still get its needed lacquer paint job this upcoming winter to ensure the car will confirm the Top Flight status as well on future Dutch Flight events.
This proves again the NCRS standard are reasonable and don't enforce lacquer paint or number matching engine (mine is missing the H or Q suffix on the engine pad since the engine came out of a passenger car but is nevertheless of the correct type and date).
I also want to thank all our English colleagues for organizing such this excellent event!!!
greetings,
Rob.
PS. I like to believe this car is now the first Top Flight car in the Netherlands!!!
