I can't find the parking brake pulley bracket assy finish in the JG. I am referring to the bracket on the firewall. Was it suppose to be present during the eng.comp. blackout? Is the plastic/nylon pulley wheel and the bracket painted together with bolts installed,etc.? What finish should each of these parts be finished in. I would like to do this right the first time. Thanks Dick Gutman

I can't speak directly to a firwall pulley bracket as my 67 has it under the car as part of the frame....... but in doing my body off restoration on my 67 I found that nothing was on the body or firewall except riveted items before blackout. If it were bolted/clipped in place it was installed after the blackout process. Based on that observation I would say the pulley and brackets were treated separately. The bracket was probably black and the pulley natural color. Just my 2 cents......... -

The firewall bracket was installed after blackout, and was most likely dip-primed black.Comment
