Hi
I have a 1966 427 hood and the problem is the outer skin is not connected to the under side fiberglass frame work (It flexes). There is an adhesive that is used to connect the two together. Does anybody know the correct adhesive and why it would be missing from this hood?
This has been discussed here probably a hundred times. You might want to look in the archives. The gist is that the hood was only bonded around the perimeter and not actually bonded on the inside support. A non hardening puddy like material is used there. It is applied in the area of the little flat tabs.
