How do I remove rubber weatherstrip?

I am in the process of removing all the paint from my 1960. I want to remove all of the weatherstripping too, but haven't found a good way yet. Is there a solvent that works well? Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Weatherstip was originally installed using 3M weatherstrip adhesive. Most major auto parts shops stock 3M weatherstrip adhesive disolver. Comes in pint/quart can with instructions and application 'snout'.

3M makes "General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner #08984 It removes weatherstrip glue, it won't hurt the pain, but takes a while.
