C1 - 61 Emergency Brake flasher

Here's a good one, my emergency brake flasher isn't working, so being the genius that I am (ha) I get a new bulb and fight it back in; still nothing. Must be the switch so I take that apart and find it working (could have actually tested it in place, but why do it the easy way when the hard way is available). O.K. lets check the harness, continuity - check; switch operation - check; power from the fuse block... nothing, turn key on... nothing, start car... still nothing, jump power from radio power tab to switch... the light works, heats up and blinks like there's no tomorrow. So, what is it about the fuse block that wont let power out at the brake plug??? Any thoughts on why the LL harness I put in 3 years ago, decided to not play ball anymore? I don't want to pull it off the firewall unless I have to, I guess I can look at the old harness (I never throw anything away including the original dash pad fadded no foam left under it, cracked and about a third of it just plain missing, but YOU NEVER KNOW!!!). Back to genius again. For whatever reason I must have pulled the fuse parallel to the brakr alarm tang, without that fuse, there is no power. I figured this out looking at the old fuse block (backside)... it feels good not to be stupid again!!!
