    Thanks to the Queen City Chapter!

    For those who were able to attend, we had a great Regional meet this past weekend. I was able to bring my 72 down as a Bowtie display car, judge for a day, and enjoy time with my wife while my kids were 6 hours away. The facility was nice and the friendship even better.

    Thanks to those who helped push my car out on Sunday morning, too. If any of them happens to check here, it turns out my negative battery cable near the frame was corroded away. I was able to get the car onto my lift Sunday afternoon, and when I inspected the cable it disintegrated in my hand. No wonder it wouldn't start that morning. I'm surprised it had been running at all.

    Thanks again Queen City for a great event!

      Patrick great to hear you found the problem. We all talked about your problem after you left we all thought it was a ground problem. Glad you and your wife made it home safe hope to judge with you again. Paul

          We too had a great time. I was amazed as to how smooth everything was coordinated. From the moment we pulled into the unloading area untill we drove off Sunday morning everything was fantastic. The "auctioneer" at the banquet was a little weak but you can't do it all! (kidding of course, he was the best part of the evening, except my blue ribbon)

              Paul,

              The journey home went well.
              My only problem now is that vendors only want to sell you the set of both positive and negative cables. I only need one!

              I'll try and take a pic of the cable, and post it later this week.

                  If you try to find a used one watch out the later sharks negative cable is shorter. Lyle

                      Patrick may have a vender that may sell you just the negative cable to you. I dont have his phone # at work will let you know this afternoon. Paul
