67 Glove Compartment Contents

I will be in need of "Glove Compartment Contents" in the next couple of months. Does anyone know of a good source? My car was built Feb 13, Do I use the first or second edition owners manual?

Bill, There are a few individuals out there selling correct, original, glove box items. There are also the Mid-America Design, Paragon, Dobbins,Long Island parts dealers selling mostly repro stuff. If you have a recent Driveline, or a Corvette Trader monthly, you will find these individuals. The original stuff is quite expensive.

I think Bob has you pointed in the right direction. I haven't looked lately but I don't know of a source that has the entire contents "packaged" together, so unless someone knows differently, then you would need to find them all individually. One source that has a listing of the glove compartment contents is the 1967 JM (page 24, 2nd Edition) and if I remember correctly there is a similar listing of most (or all) of the 1967 glove compartment contents in the first section of the 67 AIM. I was under the impression that the second edition of the 1967 Corvette Owner's Manual came out later, after 1967. However, I could be mistaken. TBarr #24014

I believe there's a photo of all the glove box items in Dobbin's 63-67 Vette Vues fact book. This is a must book for all restorers,serious NCRS learners, and anyone else that likes instant comparisons of each year Corvette top to b ottom visually. .
