C3 1969 Engine Cast Date

My 69 L79 vin #30516 has a cast date of E129 (my birthday) and a pad stamp of V0827HX, does this time lag sound correct due to the GM strike that year?

Not really, both dates are from the pre-strike era.

HX = L46 + manual transmission + air conditioned

Car has factory AC and many other options.

If i could figure out how to post a picture I would. If Joe Lucia wants to post my engine stamp I sent him he has my permission.

The strike (at the St. Louis complex) ran from April 10th through June 6th, and neither Saginaw Foundry nor Flint Engine were affected. Your dates would fly for judging.
