Need Steel Wheel Code Deciphered

I've got an extra steel wheel here that I am trying to determine what it is for and the year.

The GM Part number is 3869156.

The date code around the valve is K10 3 16

Any ideas?

15 x 5.50K welded wheel with 7/16 offset for 1965/66 Corvette and 7.75 x 15 tire to be mounted - info out of my January 1976 parts catalogue

K10 3 16, I believe translates to March 16, 1970.
