Re: C3 HELP
Joe,I would say buying a Corvette of any vintage is the same across the board, buy the best you can afford and do your homework. If a project is what you want, again buy the best.I have recently turned my attention to these same cars and am in love with my low compression big block LS6! I could tell you about it but I don't have that much time,it is great. I have always been a big block man so maybe I'm just missing out but I say good choice!
Good Luck!- Top

Re: C3 HELP
We have a 71, 454 hp. Typically, big blocks are known for overheating, especially in stop and go traffic. One of the things we did is remove the radiator and had it checked by a local rad shop...never had any overheating issues. The only problem we see now is the price of gas....I think we get @10 miles per gallon. Love the big block though, would own nothing else.- Top
