Has anyone had experiece with PMX Custom Alternators & Starters out of Portland OR? They Advertise in Hemmings. Were the experiences good, bad or indifferent?
Who does the forum recommend for rebuilding of alternators & starters?
I had my alternator restored by a source other than John Pirkle. I wasn't happy with the finish on the aluminum and ended up sending it to John to have it done correctly. He knows what the finishes on the various parts are supposed to look like and you'll be happy with the results. There are other restorers, but to avoid being dissapointed with the results and/or having it done a second, have John do the work.
