Sonoma/Napa area north of San Francisco and drive my 66 regularly. See some C-2's a few C-1's quite a few C-3's. They had a car show in Calistoga this weekend and there were some very nice C-1's on the road. I had a chance to talk to a couple of the drivers and when I talked about the NCRS they were not members, so I told them about the great resource you guys are and maybe we'll have some new C-1 posters soon.

I know the feeling. Only C4's, no C3's or C2's, let alone C1's. I was out last weekend in my 65 L79 Convertible with the top down and wondering if/why I was the only one having any fun. I decided long ago that I was going to enjoy this car (in spite of the insurance) and have no problem waving as I'm cruising through the canyons and side roads in Northern Utah. FYI...my left arm is getting HUGE from the workout!

Hi Tom:
I know the feeling, I have driven my 61 almost 6000 miles this year and I never see any other C1's, 2's or 3's and the 4's and 5's I see on the road, don't seem to recognize it as a corvette. But driving to work 3 or 4 days a week during the summer and once or twice a week in the spring and fall (until the first snow) is worth the effort. We all have our "happy place"!!! Jim
