    Early 61 trans

    In reference to a T10 1B cast iron case and 10 7B alum tail trans, Is there a difference between a chevy and a corvette transmission. If so, how can the vette trans be identified?

      For any given year model T-10, the Chevrolet passenger car and Corvette transmissions were identical.

              Leon;
              When the engine for my 61 (Jan 61) my mechanic said that the VIN was on the 4 speed transmission.
