    1965 Fuel Injection/TI Combination

Do all radiator core supports for 1965 Fuel Injected cars contain the 3 mounting holes located on the passenger side where the TI amplifier would bolt to the radiator core support? Or did only those FI cars with TI have these holes?

I have seen a number 396 big block cars with the amplifier mounted in this location on the radiator core support.

    David,

Pretty sure that only 65 FI cars that were ordered with the optional TI ignition system would have had the amplifier mounting holes in the core support. I believe the holes were added only if needed.

The 65 396 car would have been a different story though because there was no such thing as a 65 396 without TI. It was a mandatory option so every one had the amplifier.

T.I. amplifier mounting holes were fixture-drilled at assembly when T.I. was specified.
