    Power valves

    The link below is to photos of two different power valves. The flat faced one came in a Holley rebuild kit, and the one with the snout came was in the Holley 4160 that I was rebuilding. There is a jet screwed into the snout.
    Can someone eplain the differences to me?

    the longer one is a "two stage" power valve used to get better fuel milage BUT never used in performance carb applications
