if you blow a syncho ring on a ZF6, cost to repair/ship to and back, will approach 3000 bucks. cost of NOS from specialty parts warehouse(877 227 8388--ask for julie) is 1450 plus shipping for either base motored ZF6 or the LT5-motored ZF6. price includes new shifter as well. Very limited supply/price. mike

i could have bought the synchronizer couple years ago BUT i'm told there is no way the tranny can be put back together without the ZF6 fixture(ALMOST impossible to DISASSEMBLE it without the fixture). the fixture is 1500 bucks. couldn't see buying it then but i'd have probably been better off to do so. regards and plan on coming down to cumberland for the last autox of the year, oct 29 and 30th. there is a picnic at our farm sat nite you are also welcome to attend.anyubody else interested, its 30 bucks a day for 4 to 6 runs and picnic is 15 bucks a head. great food and plenty of the beast as well as plenty of bull**** and tire kicking(i dont indulge) mikeComment
