Have 2 jacks (one is my 64 while other is from 67). How can one determine which is the 64 jack? There seems to be only minor differences. Thanks for the help!

Re: C2 Jack ID?
The '64 should be an undated 'Type 1' jack while the '67 should be a dated 'Type 2' jack. Differences ARE minor and deal with the length of the hex nut on the jack's lead screw + how the lead screw is supported (with ball bearing assy or simple acetal resin washer used for a bearing.- Top

Re: C2 Jack ID?
First, I assume that the type 1or2 are not marked on the jack.
I have one jack that the nut of the lead screw uses a steal washer, white spacer, and another steal washer against the frame (U shaped area). I most likely added the 2 steal washers if they are incorrect. Is the white spacer known as the acetal resin washer ( its a plastic part)? Should the metal washers be removed for NCRS stuff? Thank you.- Top

Re: C2 Jack ID?
Alan,
Your 64 should be a Type I jack with a metal ball bearing behind the nut and the 67 should be a Type III jack with the two washers and the white plastic spacer between the two washers.
Sorry Jack, but Type II was not used on 67's and only late 67 Type III jacks had the dates.
