    C-3 Headlamp Door Adjustment

    Gentlemen:
Is there a mechanism or a "stop" that can be adjusted for positioning the headlight doors when in the closed/down/off position. I know there is such an adjustment for the doors when in the "UP" (on) position but one of my headlamp doors on my 68 would line up better if it were raised 1/8 inch when closed. In other words, when closed it is recessed 1/8 inch and I would like it to be flush with the surrounding area.
    Thank you in advance,
    Kurt # 26406

The adjustment is a threaded bolt and on the end is a small hex 1/4" or less.Use a small socket to adjust. It is located on the pivot point. Lyle

      Lyle,
Thank you very much for your reply.
In what vicinity will I find this threaded bolt?

It is in the center between the springs. Looking up from under the car with the head lights down you should see it. The threaded bolt is thru a white L shaped casting and may be hard to move with the hex being smaller than the threads. The other end of the bolt has a regular hex head. Lyle
