C1 Interior paint code/formula

Beginning the reassembly of my 1960 restoration.
Went to my auto body supplier (PPG products) to get the interior red to paint the gauge cluster, etc. He could not find a direct cross reference from his old laquer book (I thing it was Ditzler).
The only reference he could find was a PPG number 70961. listed as 1958 - 1967 interior red. That seems like a big spread in years to me (and him).
Can anyone verify if this is correct?
Does anyone have a formula ir croorec cross reference?
Finally, what was the color called - the only reference was "Interior red - 1960 corvette"?

Focus your web browser on www.autocolorlibrary.com. They keep PPG color chip info back to the 1920's. If you poke up 1960 Chevrolet, you'll only see the main exterior color chip set with blend codes for the various cars (Chevrolet, Corvette, Corvair). BUT, if you wander one year back to 1959, you'll see the main color chip along with PPG service bulletins giving the blend codes for interior colors and Corvette is different from other Chevy cars.

Unfortuantely their paint chip data base is incomplete since each year had a main exterior page along with supporting data 'rear' pages describing what was used where on ancillary items (interior components, wheels, Etc.) and often they list the exact gloss factor that was used in these different areas....
