      Re: 62 Powerglide

I found the kick down linkage on ebay. I think I paid about $50.00 for it. The linkage was very similar for all powerglide installations. Try searching using the word powerglide or power glide. The distance from the transmission to the bellhousing is the same on all aluminum powerglide applications. The rod that goes from the bellhousing to the carb is different for different years depending on the carburator used. I would think any Carter carb rod would work for your installation. Long Island Corvette sells the correct rod and attaching clip for a 63, that sould be the same as the 62. Paragon might also sell the entire setup. There is a short rod for the neutral safety switch which might also be sold by Paragon.
