Having a difficult time reading the casting date on a 1959 fuelie. The numbers on the block can not be felt or can they be visually inspected even with a mirror due to the draft tube. My question to all is I did find numbers by the freeze out plug on the driver side it looks like M or N of 59 help!
casting # is on the drivers side of block on the flange the bellhousing bolts to. casting date is on pass side of flange, under the crankcase vent tube. it can be mirrored but removing the tube facilitates reading the date. mike
