Upper inner hardtop bracket on 1966

Can anyone tell me the correct color for the hardtop rear window upper reinforcement bracket for a 1966. Does it match the interior or exterior color?

Carl, not sure exactly which bracket you mean but if you're refering to the one that extends down from the upper window and attaches to the plexiglass, it should be unpainted. If I remember correctly, it was stainless so no other coating was required. Hope I have the right bracket.
