unpriced driveline ads jerry bramlett i dislike driveline ads that do not mention price in fact i no longer respond to them i found that these calls seldom result in a purchase for me maybe these advertisers are doing me a favor by sparing me from a potential heart attack however i'd really prefer that the ncrs require prices in for sale ads this policy is effectively applied by other clubs so why can't we do it

Re: Unpriced Driveline ads
re unpriced driveline ads mark jerry i agree i no longer respond to these ads as well and this includes cars for sale i have found that most times the part or car is so overpriced that i would have never wasted my money on the phone call if i had known the price in advance i believe that the fact that our ads are printed free of charge encourages folks to test the water with an ad this not only wastes the time of the respondent but the advertiser as well- Top

Re: Unpriced Driveline ads
re unpriced driveline ads rick gower i agree completely with jerry it should be a requirement that all advertisers in the driveline be required to post prices if a member has a problem with the ad size limit and pricing their items they obviously must be in the business of selling parts and should be paying commercial advertising rates there is no reason for the hobbyist to waste money on telephone calls chasing parts that the advertiser is to embarrassed to price i belong to another organization which employs a advertisement pricing rule and it works great rick gower ncrs- Top
