Hi Jerry:

Mine has the Delco Remy logo, but it is hard to see in the photo. In the photo I posted, the logo is just to the right of the spot weld and below the mounting hole. If your bracket is rusted, the logo may be hard to see.

But you have to look real close and it looks a lot fainter then the one in John's picture. I was looking for the words Delco Remy per the JG, and didn't realize it was just a logo. However, I can't read it anyhow, but it does show up in my picture in the location you indicated.

The guy who originally installed mine at the factory, completely missed the screw head with the black goop and just caught the edge of mounting bracket. Looks like he wasn't paying attention and put an extra big gob about an inch off the mark. See the differences in the goop markings between John's and my pictures.

I'll bet he got reported to Michael H.

Original '67 ballast resistors, as a rule, do not have the tab mentioned.
I suppose it is possible a second vendor supplied the tab style for a short time, but I am not familiar with it.
