Can anyone tell me where I can find a choke control rod for my 70 BB. I have checked the catalogs etc, is there an identical choke rod that I can use from another vehicle. I have never seen one from a 70.
I have noticed that the E clip is the recommended clip in the Doc's catalog, but I have heard another clip is actually used...can this be confirmed?
Kurt, I have never seen a reproduction of this chock rod either. I used a chock rod for a 69 BB 390 HP. Usually you have to bend & tweek a choke rod on any application anyway, so don't beat yourself up looking for that exact choke rod. Tom
When I needed a choke rod for my 70 L-46 Q-jet, I called Paragon. They have the GM blueprints for the rod, and made one up for my. I'm to embarrassed to say what I paid. Perfect fit though.
