    C2 Cookie Sheets...need some originals...

    I finished most of the restoration and car is beautiful, but I had to purchase a set of repro cookie sheets for the hood. I am not happy with the look, as the repros do not have the slight bend as the originals that I saw. Does anyboy have a good original set they can sell or recommend where I can get a good original set? After spending so much and so much time on this car I really want it to look as perfect as possible.....

      They do show up on ebay from time to time. You can also find them at some of the larger shows such as Corvettes at Carlisle. Or you might try looking in the drive line.

          whose repos did you get?some better than others. nos will be real salty, if you can find em.repo's deduction usually not bad enough to warrent the horrendous cost of NOS. good luck, mike

              but until you can find some rationally priced, BORROW A SET FOR JUDGING. Do NOT get FINANCIALLY RAPED FOR ENJOYING WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HOBBY!

                  On a totally basic level I would agree. The Judging Field is seeking a level. Hopefully the leased parts cottage industry will be forced out. Just my HO.

                      I have a set of repros on there now, they look great, but are not orginal and I really would like to go to juding for TF with a nice original pair. I really don't want to "borrow", in a way isnt that like cheating? Its really not part of your car, and one thing I cannot do is cheat...Catholic Guild....so I am still looking for a nice original pair of them...anybody know of any please let me know....
