Sure. I'll even offer some additional thoughts.

    1. It is a very nice cap, and he does Excellent restorations.

    2. With a dished top rivet, it is correct for 66 and 67 big blocks, maybe 68. His pictures are poor for this auction, which is unlike him.

    3. The cap will most likely sell for $450+. His reserve is likely $400 or more based on past auctions. On my 71 and 72, there are three (3) originality points for the radiator cap. How many points-per-dollar are you willing to spend?

      3. Certainly not a good points for $$ trade. I'll stick with my repro cap

        Ron,

This same cap was used on other cars besides vettes. Keep an eye out on ebay for caps that aren't exclusively listed for vettes and you may find a more reasonably priced one. Check under radiator cap, as opposed to corvette radiator cap. I've had success doing this for other items myself, like distributor caps, etc.

I found a NOS at the local NAPA dealer. It is worth a try.

              Re: Radiator cap

If it helps, my original 1967 RC-26 radiator cap has smaller ears than the RC-15 cap on ebay and my original 1969 RC-26 cap has fatter ears (less pointed). Both mine have what appear to be aluminum rivets. But what does it matter. There's no way I'd spend those bucks for a point or two when it can be more than made up by having the threesome (extinguisher, battery cut-off and NCRS decal).
