69 L46 Harmonic Balancer Codes

The harmonic balancer has a casting number 3942538, which I believe is correct for a 69 L46 with AC. There are some other codes that I would like to find out what they translate to.

On the front side the following codes stamped in approx 3/16" high font is
7712 and I8F. The I could be a J.

On the back side is the casting number 3942538 (all info is a raised cast) and the letters GB in an oval on one of spokes. In addition, cast in is the letter B on one of the other spokes and the letter K on the remaining spoke.

The "7712" is a derivative of the original part number for the balancer, GM #3947712. These derivatives are sometimes found on original or SERVICE balancers.

3942538 is the casting number for the hub section of the balancer. It may have been used for other balancers, too, so it does not necessarily ID the balancer's finished part number. The "I or J 8F" is likely a date code, but I don't know how to decode it.

The "GB" is likely a reference to the manufacturing source of the balancer hub casting or the balancer manufacturer.

I don't know what the "K" and "B" refer to. They may be reference marks or some pattern identifier.
