In the most recent Restorer magazine Jeff Cook mentioned that there are people using of the NCRS name and logo without first getting permission from the NCRS. I totally agree with Jeff that no company should be suggesting their products are NCRS approved. I am thinking of selling my 67 and want to list the car noting it is a "National NCRS Top Flight" and "Bloomington Gold" certified car. Do I need permission to note these in any ad? I have seen it listed by many Corvette dealers around the country. I worked hard and I am proud to note the cars accomplishments. I believe it helps to separate it from the pack of non certified cars and to justify potential differences in the selling price.
