    C3 Flywheel?

Can anyone identify the casting number 3973468 N A21 0 as found on my flywheel? Is the A21 0 a date code for Jan 21/70? Is there such a number, or have I read the casting number wrong and should be 3973458 N as discussed in earlier posts found in the archives.
    Thanks

    Wes-----

I think that you're incorrectly reading the 6th digit as a "6" when it's actually a "5". Nonetheless, whatever the number, I'm sure we're talking about the same flywheel. It's a standard weight, 14", 168 tooth flywheel designed for use with a 14" clutch. The date code is as you surmise. That makes this flywheel one of the first produced as this casting was released in late 1969.

      Correction

Designed for use with an 11" clutch; NOT a 14" clutch

        You're right Joe, I was reading a '6' for a '5'. T *NM*
