C1: Exhaust Manifold Paint

Looking for suggestions for dressing up (painting) the exhaust manifolds?

The last article I have from Corvette Restorer suggests Cast Blast 1200 or Calyx Manifold Dressing, but the article is an older one I believe, and I'm wondering if there are newer/better products are out there.

There are lots of alternatives out there now, and everyone has their favorite. I lightly blasted my '57 manifolds and applied Eastwood's "Factory Gray" manifold coating (after I had it judged), and it still looked great when I sold the car six years later, with no touch-up required. Calyx requires constant touch-up, never dries, and rubs off on anything that touches it.

Dave,
like John I had mine sandblasted then used "Eastwoods factory gray"
I have not had in on as long, but it looks real nice though everyone has there own likes as to color as you know the orginal color may have been same as engine paint which would burn off quite soon, but the gray does look nice
