C-3 Power antenna motor

I have 78'vette that the power antenna doesnt go up nor down but i can hear the motor of the antenna cycle when i turn on the radio knob. What does it take to get it to work if the motor is working?,, thanks,, a do it yourselfer here,, doug

Doug, If you heard the motor running then you probably have a broken nylon cable inside the case. This is what happen to mine. The nylon cable broke just after the point were it attached to the spool that the motor drives. I beleive I got a replacement from CC. It wasn't perfect but I got it to work.
