    Fuel Tank Anti-Squeak

I am in the process of installing a new fuel tank on a late (July)1963 coupe. The anti-squeak material that I removed was a cloth or a canvas weave strapping not the 35 lb roofing felt that I used on a 1965. I have checked with a few part houses and local suppliers for this material with no luck. How have other 1963 owners addressed the anti-squeak materials?

    Thanks Ray

    Ray -

My August-built '63 coupe had the heavy duty felt.
