C2 1966 Dash Panel Switch Bezels

I am looking for the correct "chrome/silver" paint that should be used on the plastic lighted bezels that are behind the center console knobs, (heater,fan etc). My originals are pretty well worn. Is there a standard type that everyone uses?

Good question. 3 reasons come to mind; 1)I'm cheap, 2)repros never seem to look exactly the same (don't know about these though), and 3) I'd like to keep everything that was original to the car on the car as best I can.

I just bought a new set from Corvette Central $12 for my 66. Look pretty close and fit well. It looks as if the letters are translucent.

Thanks for all the responses. After cleaning mine up a bit, it looks like its just your everyday chrome paint. The local hobby shop has some for plastics which I think I'll use. Again, thanks for the help and the good discussions.
