    Well, there's some confusion here, but I'm going to get to the bottom of it. If you will note, the PP Catalog also says that the GM #12371058 (this is a set of 16 GM #12552126 studs) was used on "late model LT1, LT4 and any head not using a pushrod guideplate". The GM #1255126 stud is a 3/8" stud with 7/16"-14 head threads.

    However, the LT4 DID NOT use this stud according to other information that I have. It used stud GM #12550011. It's possible that stud was 7/16" "all-the-way". I wasn't aware of that, but, if there's not some difference like this, I don't understand why the different part number. The 12550011 is not mentioned or described in the GM PP Catalog. But, I'm going to find out.
