You Are A '67 SMALLBLOCK Engine Judge Ha Ha!

Why........you must be lonelier than the Maytag repairman. 1967 was the year that your friendly Chevy store couldn't even GIVE away a Corvette, in anticipation of the much maligned 1968 model. You remember, that was the one where all of the parts would fall off within 1000 miles, or so.
So now, because of the desireability of midyears with Ratmotors, there are very few people selling 1965-67 Corvettes with Mousemotors!
Wanna buy a 1964 Corvette with a 396. Numbers matching...........

No John, it's the greyhound. Lean and Mean

They all go the same speed, but the 327/300 just takes a little longer to get there. 135 MPH at almost liftoff ain't bad.

Well put, and the SBs survived.

                        16 mpg at reasonable speeds

Except when a Honda comes up your side, and "Hotel California" comes up on the FM. That's when you put a little smoke in his/her front end.

Kevin, nice to see you back on.

Ah, the joys of a big block. I only got 19 mpg at 55 on the highway with the 3.08.

Coming back from Bloomington a few years ago with it running rough from sitting in storage for two years while overseas, I was shredding belts and missing and got 14.5 mpg with the 3.55 in the rear. A '77 with me got 12 and a '72 200hp got 13.

                          Those evil gas-guzzling big blocks.

My mouse does a little better and I've had both mouse and rat motors . A mouse C2 handles much different then a Rat C2 and besides that I'm POOR so I kept the mouse and sold that Rat to those big cheese guys.

I used to get 20,or more, years ago

cruising at 55-65 in my 67 327/300/3.08 on a long trip. Now at 59,000 miles I'm getting less (16). Any tricks out there to bring that mileage back.
