    Joe,

    I've collected many early tank stickers (although not many from 71) and all appear to have a Friday "Expected" date.....

    Possibly GM changed the rules in 71!

    I guess anything is possible when humans are involved, so if its Saturday on that sticker then that is what was typed.....

    I don't know for sure that 34 years ago the day after Thanksgiving was a holiday at GM............It wasn't where I worked.

      Steve, I worked for the general starting in 1962 and I'm sure that we had the day after turkey day off back then.

        That was my first year at Fisher Body, and I remember all the wonderful holidays. The Christmas break was Christmas eve through the first working day after new year. You had to work at least a 1/2 day on either end of the holiday or you didn't get paid.
