I know that tank sheets were first used in 1967 through the 70's. My question is in regards to what is known about the days of the week the orders were typed and what expected build days of the week were. I have been told that there were "ONLY" Friday Order received days and now "ONLY" Friday expected dates of production. My tank sheet shows a date received day of 04-17-67 (a Monday) and an expected date of production of 04-19-67 (a Wednesday). Now if you look at a calendar for 1967, 05-19-67 is a (Friday). I have looked at and gotten many opinions but I have received no "facts" and proof, which leaves all comments to date as opinions with nothing to back them up. If anyone has a known, authentic tank sheet and they would not mind sending me a photo to richardljones@comcast.net, I would appreciate it, especially if it has type-o's. I would only need a photo of the date sections to settle the discussion I am having with someone about the "DATE" matter only. I am also awaiting Al Greening's opinion in this matter as I know his opinion will be based on years of research and collection of data. Thanks for any help! Rick
P.S.
I know the picture is a little washed out, and you can't see the original glue on the back, along with the tape that holds the document together. I only include it for reference information. The color is bad but this is the way the numbers show the best. So please, no judging of a picture of a document that you can't hold in front of your face. I would like just facts or educated opinion about my question above.
