57 white car. White upper and lower dash. Would the white upper dash be flattened as with the other available upper dash colors? Also- would like to confirm that the eyebrow should be red. Thank you.

Re: 57 dash paint question
I too have owned white 57's all with red upper dashes and white lower dashes, However, this car is unmolested and shows a white upper and lower dash. Guess could have been repainted but really bet against. Shows white/red primer/fiberglass wlth not a hint of previous red to be found. I was of the opinion that some 57's displayed white uppers as I have seen several in the past which I assumed to be correct but maybe not. Joel Miller- Top

Re: 57 dash paint question
That's not quite correct. I don't have the manual in front of me, but there are 2 or 3 pages in the back of the JG showing dash/interior/exterior colors. Our 57 also has a white upper dash, so that is why I have been checking. From what I have been able to determine from the book and the judges, the early 57's had a red dash with the red interior, which ours should have, but later ones could have a white upper dash, and beige lower dash with the red interior. If your car shows evidence of a white upper dash, I would use that as my basis and repaint it accordingly.
