Door post weatherstrip clip set. My November 26,1958 59 corvette does not have the holes drilled in the door post. The JG says 59 & 60 should have these metal clips. The 59 AIM does not show them. Does anyone know if early 59's for shure had them. Corvette Central also show them for 59 & 60. Help PLEASE. Thanks in advance.

There were three different design door post used from 56 to 62 and I've never seen any thing wrote up about this or when any of them came in to production 56 first design, 57 -61 second design,62 third design. Weatherstripping, fillers,and line grooves, no line grooves and so on also make the difference for each post.
Many restored C1's have a mix of each installed because each design used the same part number. Good luck
