Frank Fountain for adding our 55 showing use pulling our Trailer to the 05 meet, my wife was surprised that it was in the Restorer.
Becouse we drive our Corvette when ever we go far away from home 650 to the meet , we pull the trailer to carry her cloths ,parts and to carry any thing she or I may find to buy .The original engine now has 113000 on it and pulling the trailer is no problem for the 55, she runs so sweet with a little oil dripping and we got a Top Flight Award too.

Roy, It doesn't surprise me that this photo made it into the "Restorer." I remember when you first pulled into the hotel's parking lot and my wife was really impressed with your car, trailer, and especially the bubble top. As a matter of fact, she even voted for you in the Ladies Choice voting. Keep up the good work.

John thanks! Not many appreciated seeing use drive our 55 and pulling a trailer , may- be two people told use how neat it was to see some one really using the Corvette. That is the reason we've gone to only three events in 25 years with it and that was this year, only because of the 50th year for our Corvette. We were told taking it off the field each day we may lose our status for having it judged , but that was the only way we had to get around at night for dinner.
This year in Berkeley NCRS chapter it did get ladies Choice, and First Flight in Utah, not bad for the first time showing and most likely the last.

I seen the photo in the Restorer when it arrived in the mail. Who cares what anybody has to say... I think it's great that you use your Vette AND tow your trailer with it as well. That is a unique photo. At least you drive, and enjoy your Vette.

Not only might you lose judging points but also you will not be able to have an epitaph that reads "I died with the prettiest GARAGED Corvette". Too keep some sanity within the restoration segment, please continue to drive to the shows. What is more fun, picking the little stones from between the tire treads or putting them in?

In the grand scene of things, what purpose do trophies and awards serve anyway? Are they now building caskets with trunks?
