    Correct Horns for 67?

JG states horns are numbered 9000487 & 9000488 + date. I cannot find these #s. I can see "Delco Remy" with a H on left horn & E on right horn. Do I need to remove horns to view #s ? I recieved full deduct & want to find correct ones. Judge said they were from passenger car. Anybody with a pic or diagram of shape? Thanks, Don

I found a photo on archives but it did not show Part/date #s.

MF Dobbins Corvette Fact books typically show pix of where/how horns were numbered and embossed... Look at the very outside edges of the horn's 'trumpet' opening. Sometimes you have to look on the back side other times on the front side--depends on how the horn is mounted.

Here are the pair of 487 and 488 horns, shot from the back side; the part numbers and date codes are on the bottom corners of the "trumpet" on the back side. The one on the left is the 488 (passenger side) and the one on the right is the 487 (driver's side).
