I'm getting ready to install the carpet in the 58. Does the top edge of the carpet tuck under the firewall insulation/board, or does it overlap it? Also: how much of the floor around the seat area was painted, or does the carpet cover enough so the fiberglass does not show? Thanks.
Glenn, The carpet overlaps the insulation. The paint should be just a wide overspray onto the floor area that is about 6" all around the edge. The carpet covers the rest.
