Part Numbers...Joe Lucia???

Joe,

I could use your help. I have some Corvette parts that were my fathers, he passed away a month ago and I am now in the process of getting them all cataloged as to what they are. I have a few parts with GM part numbers but do not know what they are for. The numbers are as follows;

radiator hose #9887156
radiator hose #3917669
fan belt #9433757
fan belt #9433764

I have a hunch some of these may have been for his El Camino. I'll make a list of the others and post them in a few days or if I can get your email address I could send them to you directly.

There's no radiator hose GM #9887156. However, there is one of GM #3887156. That's an upper radiator hose for 66-67 Corvette with L-79.

GM #3917669= 68-70 small block with manual transmission LOWER radiator hose. This hose is also the SERVICE lower radiator hose for 66-67 Corvette with small block;

GM #9433757= 7/16 X 52-1/2" V-belt; too many applications to list

GM #9433764= 7/16 X 56" V-belt; too many applications to list

You can just list the other parts on the board. I hope that there are not too many, though. Running down some part numbers, especially non-Corvette part numbers, can take me a lot of time. Cumulatively and to date, there have been well over 1,000,000 part numbers in the GM parts system. There's no easy way to ID many of them, especially those discontinued over 20 years ago.
